Amazon shoppers love this self
I’m really lucky that friends and family always want to visit me. The problem is finding a place for them to stay. Living in NYC doesn’t afford most people a second bedroom for guests, and sofa beds aren’t cheap. Hotels aren’t cheap, either. But I was scrolling through TikTok the other day when I came across the Ivation EZ-Bed inflatable mattress that has its own rolling bed frame.
Available in twin, full, queen and king sizes, starting at $299.99.
The bed frame lifts the air mattress two feet off the floor to make it feel less like a makeshift bed. The self-inflating dial also lets you control the firmness of the bed. More than 1,500 Amazon shoppers give the Ivation EZ-Bed a five-star rating and rave about how comfortable it is and how easy it is to use.
“Unbelievably comfortable!” one reviewer wrote. “After looking at sofa beds for weeks and finding them quite expensive, I came across this inflatable bed with a frame attached. This has been a big hit with our overnight guests — ‘feels like a regular bed.’ Plus it’s pretty amazing to watch it inflate itself with the metal frame, deflate itself and it was very easy to put it back in its case.”
That last part, the part about putting it away, is key. The problem I’ve found with a lot of air mattresses in the past is that it’s incredibly hard to deflate and roll them back up into their little bag. Then, they end up being bulky and take up too much room in the closet. However, reviewers say this one is incredibly easy to put back in the case. It takes about two minutes to self-deflate, then fold the frame back up and zip the case over it.
“This product was actually amazing!” wrote another reviewer. “It’s really useful, especially when you have guests over. Comfort is pretty great. It’s really easy to set up and to put away. By far one of the best air mattresses I’ve purchased!!”
The Ivation EZ-Bed comes in twin, full, queen and king sizes and ranges in price from $299.99 to $399.99, depending on the size. It’s obviously more expensive than your average air mattress, but it feels more like a rolling cot or rollaway bed because of the frame. The fact that it’s inflatable makes it easier to store than those other options, too.
Besides using it for guests, TikTokers have suggested using it in a studio apartment and on camping trips.
Available in twin, full, queen and king sizes, starting at $299.99.
